LINETTE DOHERTY
(Earth Mother/Dance Captain) is excited to join MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL 2®. Linette was the lead in the film ONE HEART BROKEN INTO SONG, and worked with tap legends Savion Glover and the late Gregory Hines, playing Elaine opposite Gregory Hines in BOJANGLES. She played a gossipy church lady in “Kim’s Convenience”, and was featured in Aaron Sorkin’s MOLLY’S GAME. LONG ROAD TO FREEDOM, a short film she choreographed and danced in, was part of the Toronto Black Film Festival. Linette choreographed After Hours (CTV); toured with Ballet Creole and Kalimba Kalimba; performed at the Charlottetown Festival, and The Red Sandcastle Theatre Christmas Pantos. Linette runs The S.P.A.C.E., a performing arts studio in Toronto, where children & adults learn from industry professionals in a warm, supportive atmosphere.

(Soap Star) Played Soap Star in MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL® since 2018 and is thrilled to continue her journey with MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL 2®. (Soap Star/Professional Woman) began her professional career at 8 years old as Gretl in THE SOUND OF MUSIC and then Annie in ANNIE, both at Connecticut’s Coachlight Dinner Theatre. Favourite stage credits include: U.S. tour of ALICE IN WONDERLAND as Alice, Olga in NINE: IN CONCERT, Molly in THE IT GIRL, Sally in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, Sister Amnesia in NUNSENSE, and Rosemary in HOW TO SUCCEED... She has numerous TV, film, and commercial credits. Ashley has been Director of the Jr. Musical Theatre program at the Interprovincial Music Camp since 2017.
